The RA CSC Chairman Manvel Badalyan paid a working visit to Kazakhstan to participate in an Annual Conference organized by the Regional Hub of Civil Service in Astana, 7-9 June. In the current year, the Regional Hub of Civil Service in Astana is celebrating its 5th anniversary.
This year’s conference on “Public Service Excellence in the Era of Sustainable Development Goals” consisted of a series of events targeted at creating an interactive knowledge-sharing platform among a wide range of participants representing ACSH participating countries and partners, multilateral organizations and diplomatic corps, as well as ACSH expert network and members of the South-South Network for Public Service Innovation. In addition, a Peer to Peer (P2P) Learning Alliance on E-government was launched in the frame of the conference.
In his speech, the CSC Chairman made reference to Hub’s key role and mission, underscoring that it is an efficient platform for diverse events targeted at improving the civil service system, sharing knowledge and experience in the field of public service.
It is to be reminded that Hub, which is a joint initiative of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the UNDP, with the Republic of Armenia represented by the Civil Service Council being a founding member and an active participant, has turned into a highly demanded international arena for sharing knowledge and experience in the field of civil service amongst 40 member countries worldwide and 35 institutional partners, through developing efficient collaboration, exchanging information, building capacities and conducting research studies.
